日前,《分子植物》(Molecular Plant)在線發(fā)表了中國農(nóng)業(yè)科學(xué)院油料作物研究所王漢中院士團(tuán)隊(duì)最新成果。該團(tuán)隊(duì)在國際上首次成功克隆了農(nóng)作物種子性狀的第一個(gè)細(xì)胞質(zhì)調(diào)控基因 orf188,并揭示了該基因調(diào)控油菜種子高含油量的作用機(jī)制。該成果為油菜高含油量育種提供了新途徑,為育種過程中雜交母本的選擇提供了理論支撐,對于農(nóng)作物不同類型細(xì)胞質(zhì)的應(yīng)用具有重要的指導(dǎo)意義。含油量是油菜產(chǎn)油量最重要的構(gòu)成因子之一,隨著現(xiàn)代育種對含油量潛力的不斷挖掘,提高品種的含油量越來越困難。該團(tuán)隊(duì)在油菜含油量遺傳研究的基礎(chǔ)上,從細(xì)胞質(zhì)效應(yīng)著手對含油量母體調(diào)控新機(jī)制研究取得突破,篩選到兩個(gè)對含油量具有極顯著細(xì)胞質(zhì)正負(fù)效應(yīng)的品種,鑒定出特異基因 orf188 控制細(xì)胞質(zhì)的含油量正效應(yīng),過表達(dá)該基因可以大幅度提升含油量。研究表明,orf188 為 nap(nap-like)型油菜品種所特有基因,是一個(gè)新近進(jìn)化形成的嵌合基因。該團(tuán)隊(duì)十余年來圍繞油菜種子性狀的母體調(diào)控進(jìn)行系統(tǒng)研究,此次對細(xì)胞質(zhì)基因調(diào)控種子含油量機(jī)理的揭示,是該團(tuán)隊(duì)繼發(fā)現(xiàn)角果皮發(fā)育調(diào)控種子粒重和含油量之后發(fā)現(xiàn)的又一條母體調(diào)控新途徑,進(jìn)一步豐富和完善了種子性狀的母體調(diào)控理論,也為其他農(nóng)作物性狀細(xì)胞質(zhì)效應(yīng)的解析提供了借鑒。相關(guān)論文信息:DOI:10.1016/j.molp.2019.01.012來源:中國科學(xué)報(bào)轉(zhuǎn)載:生物360

隨著技術(shù)飛速發(fā)展、醫(yī)學(xué)數(shù)據(jù)的持續(xù)擴(kuò)增以及硬件設(shè)備的不斷提升,人工智能和醫(yī)療的結(jié)合方式越來越多樣化。目前AI在醫(yī)療領(lǐng)域中的落地的應(yīng)用場景主要有醫(yī)學(xué)影像、智能診療、智能導(dǎo)診、智能語音、健康管理、病例分析、醫(yī)院管理、新藥研發(fā)和醫(yī)療機(jī)器人等,其中在醫(yī)學(xué)影像中的應(yīng)用最為廣泛。一、影像醫(yī)學(xué)發(fā)展現(xiàn)狀醫(yī)學(xué)影像是醫(yī)生完成診斷的主要依據(jù),通過對影像的分析和比較,從而完成有依據(jù)的診斷。但是在實(shí)際過程中,往往會(huì)存在以下問題:(1)影像學(xué)診斷人才資源緊缺。醫(yī)療機(jī)構(gòu)普遍缺乏高水平的影像醫(yī)師,在疾病診斷時(shí)往往會(huì)發(fā)生同病異影,異病同影等情況。(2)傳統(tǒng)定性分析存在診斷誤差。醫(yī)生普遍擅長定性分析,很多微小的定量變化無法通過肉眼判斷,很難做到定量分析。(3)醫(yī)生閱片時(shí)間長。目前的影像呈現(xiàn)方式為數(shù)據(jù)和圖像,而不是最有效的信息,很大程度上限制了醫(yī)生的人工閱片速度。二、AI+醫(yī)學(xué)影像助力疾病診斷通過引入人工智能可有效解決部分問題,目前人工智能在醫(yī)學(xué)影像領(lǐng)域的應(yīng)用方向主要以下幾類:1. 影像設(shè)備的圖像重建AI可以通過算法的圖像映射技術(shù),將采集的少量信號恢復(fù)出與全采樣圖像同樣質(zhì)量的圖像,而且使用圖像重建技術(shù),可以由低劑量的CT和PET圖像重建得到高劑量質(zhì)量圖像。這樣在滿足臨床診斷需求的同時(shí),還能夠降低輻射的風(fēng)險(xiǎn)。2. 智能輔助診斷疾病(1)智能輔助診斷肺部疾病國內(nèi)應(yīng)用AI+CT影像最為成熟的領(lǐng)域在肺結(jié)節(jié)的識(shí)別上。AI能夠有效識(shí)...

前瞻記憶是指個(gè)體記住未來要完成任務(wù)的能力。兒童進(jìn)入學(xué)校后,前瞻記憶任務(wù)逐漸增多,對前瞻記憶能力的要求也逐漸增高。前瞻記憶任務(wù)成功的關(guān)鍵在于當(dāng)個(gè)體看到線索時(shí)能主動(dòng)提取并執(zhí)行意圖。前瞻記憶線索分為三種,時(shí)間線索(如周六晚上7點(diǎn)記得參加朋友的生日聚會(huì))、事件線索(如路過超市記得買水果)和活動(dòng)結(jié)束線索(如寫完作業(yè)記得找家長簽字)。三種線索的提取難度存在差異,這可能與其對注意資源的需求不同有關(guān)。較之正常發(fā)育的兒童,多動(dòng)癥兒童在日常活動(dòng)中常有注意力不集中和健忘的表現(xiàn),提示其前瞻記憶能力可能存在缺損。然而,對多動(dòng)癥兒童前瞻記憶功能的研究較少,更缺乏研究直接考察多動(dòng)癥兒童在三種線索條件下的前瞻記憶表現(xiàn)及其認(rèn)知加工特點(diǎn)。因此,中國科學(xué)院心理研究所心理健康重點(diǎn)實(shí)驗(yàn)室神經(jīng)心理和應(yīng)用認(rèn)知神經(jīng)科學(xué)(NACN)實(shí)驗(yàn)室陳楚僑研究組與北醫(yī)六院醫(yī)生錢英、濰坊醫(yī)學(xué)院教授王艷郁合作考察了多動(dòng)癥兒童在時(shí)間、事件和活動(dòng)結(jié)束線索條件下的前瞻記憶表現(xiàn)。該研究招募了28名臨床診斷的多動(dòng)癥兒童和28名年齡和性別匹配的正常發(fā)育兒童,采用釣魚游戲任務(wù)(Yang, Chan, Shum, 2011)測查兒童在三種線索條件下的前瞻記憶功能。該任務(wù)采取經(jīng)典的雙任務(wù)范式,主任務(wù)要求兒童釣魚,并同時(shí)關(guān)注前瞻記憶線索,在線索出現(xiàn)時(shí)兒童需要停止釣魚并執(zhí)行前瞻記憶任務(wù)。在時(shí)間線索條件下,兒童要記得每到整分鐘就喂貓吃魚;在事件線索條件下,兒童看到特殊條...

This world-leading light engine outputs remarkable intensity over a short light path that delivers superior fluorophore excitation. Each cube contains an LED, condensing optics, and hard-coated filters. EVOS? light cubes are user-changeable and automatically recognized by the system. The RFP light cube is ideal for use with Alexa Fluor? 555, CellMask? Orange, pHrodo?, RFP, SYTOX? Orange and other fluorophores with excitation and emission maxima near 531 and 593 nm.

Revolutionary Light Path
By placing the LED light cube as close as possible to the objective turret, the number of optical elements in the light path is minimized. High-intensity illumination over a short light path increases the efficiency of fluorophore excitation, providing better detection of weak fluorescent signals.

Continuous Light Intensity
Mercury arc lamps can decrease in intensity by 50% in the first 100 hours of operation—plus, images acquired in different sessions cannot be quantitatively compared using mercury illumination without complicated calibrations. Because EVOS? systems have continuous light cube intensity, users can rely on consistent illumination and can compare quantitative results from images acquired on different days. Each light cube contains a precisely matched set of optical components to optimize the position, evenness, and intensity of the light beam. Digitally controlled LED light sources allow adjustment of illumination levels, dramatically improving control over photobleaching.

Less Expensive to Own and Maintain
The LED bulbs on the EVOS? systems are rated for >50,000 hours (~17 years), compared to 300 hours for a typical mercury bulb and 1,500 hours for a metal halide bulb. This translates to savings in the overall upkeep of your instrument.

EVOS? Hard-coated Filter Sets for Higher Transmission Efficiencies
